We want to THANK YOU for an incredible 2022. We are truly blessed beyond belief for your continued support as we embark on the new year supporting you in return. The new year is upon us, and so is the promise of a fresh start, a new beginning. As a company, we like to strive for the same goal with the hope that the impact of our values grow each year. We look for solutions to better serve you, your family, and our community. Acres & Oak Kitchen exists for the purpose of giving. We want to be the avenue in which our customers serve one another, and we want to encourage you to give this year in any aspect of life.
You can make the most significant difference by doing something small for someone whether it is of monetary value or small investments of your time. Here are some ways our products can be of use in your own or someone else’s life:
Celebration of life
Show your appreciation by taking ready-to-go meals to new parents. Easy meals and snacks will give them more time to spend with their new bundle of joy and make for an easier transition into their new routines.
Loss of a loved one
Grief robs people of their energy to do anything, especially when it comes to preparing their own meals. A sympathy meal provides the family with one less thing to worry about in addition to sustenance at the time they need it most.
A transition in life
Any transition in the life of a friend or family member is a great excuse to drop food off at their doorstep. For example, stock the freezer for a couple that has taken the leap. Moving into a home together can be stressful, and even more so if their kitchen is still packed in boxes.
Organize a meal train
Meal trains are an amazing way to come together to show support for someone in need over a longer period of time. The purpose is to provide an entire meal for each day, but it would be a nice surprise to also throw in a dessert, a bottle of wine, or some flowers to go along with it. This will also prevent the recipient from eating lasagna five days in a row.
Your favorite high school graduate is going off to college, stocking their freezer in their dorm/apartment would be a tremendous help for them financially. Show your support and appreciation for other meaningful events such as baptisms, engagements, promotions, or retirements.
Arguably the most important. There is nothing more heartwarming than giving and receiving a gift just because. It lets that person know that you love, care, and think about them even on the most random day. That random day can make their day or week a much better one. Who knows? Maybe that one simple act of kindness can rub off on them and make an even bigger impact.
Giving is contagious! Seeing people do good and help make a difference in their community can inspire others and create a cycle that can help make the world a better place. It shows that we care about the needs of others and that we are willing to go the extra mile. You never know the impact you are making in someone else’s life.
It can bring happiness and meaning into your life. It can show us how much we take for granted in our everyday lives which in turn teaches us humility, compassion, kindness, and generosity—all traits to make you a better person. Let 2023 be the year for giving! Let’s add value to others, our community, and also to yourself.
